The focus of our training has always been predominantly practical. Massage is a 'hands-on' therapy after all. But it is also vital that the practitioner understands how to provide safe and effective massage for their clients, including;
• the what, how and why of health questionnaires
• how to use the information gathered
• how to tailor or adapt the massage for an individual client
•applying massage techniques effectively, efficiently and safely
• working within the corporate environment
The last few years have seen an increase in online-only training courses, including for massage. Not ideal for hands-on therapies! This has resulted in some inadequately trained practitioners working within the industry. This can affect the safety and effectiveness of the massage, both for the client and the practitioner.
To help redress this, we offer bespoke training courses for practitioners of Seated Acupressure to further develop their knowledge, skills and experience, leading to safer and more effective massage.
Seated Acupressure / On Site Massage
This type of massage involves the practitioner working through clothes, with the client sitting on an ergonomically designed chair. No oils and no fuss make this one of the most portable and effective forms of massage.
By working on common areas of tension in the back, neck and shoulders, it helps the body become more balanced, leaving the client feeling refreshed and invigorated. Ideal for the stresses of modern life!
